We were honoured to welcome H.E. Yasin Joyia, the Honorary Consul of Sri Lanka, to GBC. H.E. Joyia briefed participants on our upcoming 14-member business delegation to Sri Lanka, set to depart on May 27th, led by our Chairman-BoD, Mr. Ahmad Ikram Lone. The delegation comprises representatives from diverse sectors, including textiles, carpets & rugs, rice, auto parts, home appliances, building materials, chemicals and the steel sector. During our visit to Sri Lanka, the delegation will engage in key meetings with the Ceylon and Colombo Chambers of Commerce and the Women and Tourism Chambers. We will also have the privilege of visiting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Trade and Investment, and the Board of Investment of Sri Lanka. We are excited about the potential opportunities this visit will bring and look forward to fruitful collaborations that will benefit both Gujranwala and Sri Lanka.
