The Made in Gujranwala Enclosure at HEMS 2025 welcomed an impressive wave of business delegations from across Africa, including representatives from Kenya, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Somalia, Nigeria, South Africa, South Sudan, Tanzania, Angola, Burundi, Uganda, Togo, Benin, Ghana, Senegal, Djibouti, and Morocco. The delegation was honoured by the presence of Dr. Ahmad Ali Sirohey, Director General Africa, who appreciated the initiative of showcasing Gujranwala’s industrial excellence on a global stage.
African buyers took great interest in the diverse product range displayed by Gujranwala’s manufacturers – particularly in sanitary ware, electric fans, home appliances, and kitchenware. Several exhibitors successfully struck business deals with importers aiming to bring “Made in Gujranwala” products to African markets. High-level discussions were also held on potential joint ventures and distribution partnerships in key African economies such as Nigeria, South Sudan, Uganda, Rwanda, and South Africa, marking a powerful step towards deeper economic engagement between Gujranwala and the African continent.
