Gujranwala Business Centre (GBC) arranged an industrial visit for H.E. Fatou Harerimana, High Commissioner of Rwanda, to Waqar Rice Mills, a leading exporter of rice from the region. The visit aimed to explore new trade opportunities and strengthen economic ties between Pakistan and Rwanda.
Mr. Mian Usman Aziz, Director of Waqar Rice Mills, provided a comprehensive tour of the facility, showcasing the state-of-the-art processing units, quality control measures, and premium rice brands that have earned Waqar Rice Mills a strong reputation in global markets. He also briefed the High Commissioner on the company’s diverse export portfolio and its potential to expand into African markets.
This visit marks another step toward strengthening Pakistan-Rwanda trade relations and highlights GBC’s role in facilitating meaningful collaborations between local industries and international stakeholders.
