We’re delighted to share the latest developments from our recent meeting of GBC’s Standing Committee on Social Welfare with Sri Lanka Lahore Business Council – Gujranwala Chapter, where we discussed ways to expedite the cornea transplantation process in Gujranwala. To date, we’ve successfully transplanted 15 corneas right here in Gujranwala, providing the gift of sight to 15 deserving individuals. But that’s not all! We have even more good news – 10 additional corneas are soon arriving to accommodate 10 more patients, further expanding our impact. This meeting was successfully led by our Chairman, Ahmad Lone, and to ensure that the process moves forward swiftly, Shehroze Rasheed, the dedicated Convener of the Standing Committee on Welfare, has been tasked with expediting the process.
