GIFT University had the honour of hosting US Consul General H.E. Kristin K. Hawkins, who visited the GBC x GIFT Entrepreneurship Centre to engage with student-led startups and explore innovative entrepreneurial initiatives. She was particularly impressed by Business on Campus, a program fostering student entrepreneurship.
Ms. Hawkins praised the collaborative efforts of GBC and GIFT University in nurturing a strong entrepreneurial ecosystem and empowering students to transform ideas into successful businesses. The GBC team, led by Chairman Ahmad Ikram Lone, briefed the Consul General on Gujranwala’s industrial landscape and GBC’s ongoing efforts to enhance international business connectivity.
Her visit reaffirmed the significance of industry-academia linkages in shaping the future of business and innovation in the region.
